Unlocking Second Hongmen Skill

On 4/29, Tencent released the second Hongmen skill to the public. Each class receives a different skill: Blademaster's 4, Lyn Blademaster's C, Summoner's RB, Destroyer's 3, Assassin's 3, Kung Fu Master's 4, and Forcemaster's X.

There are two ways to unlock the second Hongmen skill, a PvE and a PvP version. Each class skill has different nodes for PvE and PvP; completing PvP version usually unlocks one node while PvE version will unlock two to three nodes. 




As a preface, PvP node requires consumption of a magical bean costing 5K senzu beans while PvE nodes require 30 last hits and skill scroll.

PvP Version:

Step 1: Purchase magical bean from a PvP vendor for 5,000 senzu beans. (earned from F9)
Note: PvP vendor can be found at Emerald Village, Tomon Inn, and Autumn Village.



Step 2: Finish PvP achievement by consuming magical bean from step 1. (thereby unlocking PvP node)

Step 0: Obtain Skill Scroll from final boss in 4man Bloody Shark Harbor/Xuelangshawan
Note: The scroll is a low drop rate AND class restricted, that means there are 7 different scrolls.

Step 1: Speak with Mushin's Guardian at Mushin's Tower.

Step 2: Speak with Qing Gong Master at Misty Forest.

Step 3: Obtain Experimental Drug from Senior 4 Twin Spirits instance.

Step 4: Return to Qing Gong Master at Misty Forest.

Step 5: Obtain Hongmen Text from Imperial Army Base instance.

Step 6: Return to Mushin's Guardian at Mushin's Tower.

Step 7: Purchase Fan from Token Exchange Merchant at Sea Serpent Supply Base for 20 Pohwaran/LanLan tokens.

Step 8: Complete achievement by last hitting Fisherman, Pohwaran/LanLan, and Grandpa/Dongtianba 10 times each.
Note: To clarify, you must execute the final boss with the Hongmen skill. (Blademaster kills Fisherman with Skill 4 (Lightning Slash))



Step 9: Purchase Hongmen Text from Token Exchange Merchant at Sea Serpent Supply Base for 10 spirit crystals/lingshi.



Step 10: Return to Mushin's Guardian at Mushin's Tower. (thereby unlocking PvE node)

Congratulations, now you can show your friends your new second Hongmen skill!
